Since 1998, the Barbancourt foundation has been involved in numerous non-profit activities for Haiti. Funded by la Societe du Rhum Barbancourt, the foundation works in partnership with a number of specialised not-for-profit organisations.

Youth and Sports
- Sports Installations and Playground for children around Blanchard (3,000 inhabitants).
- Community Centre and Study Room to benefit from electricity to study.
- Le Club de Football Athletique d’Haiti (support of the local football club).
- La Fraternite Notre-Dame: Finance the construction of the orphanage.

Education
- Alphabetization: Participation in organizing sessions for adults.
- Library Construction project currently in progress.
- Youth Scholarships program for children (7 to 14 years old).
- Technical Training Scholarships in partnership with John Hopkins University.

Arts and Culture
- Supporting numerous local and international cultural and art activities.
- Supporting the local music school of Desaix Baptiste.

Health
- GHESKIO (The Haitian group for the study of Kaposi’s Sarcoma and Opportunistic Infections): The Barbancourt foundation has donated land to GHESKIO to build its main health centre. The GHESKIO Centre in Port-au-Prince, Haiti was the first institution in the world dedicated to the fight against HIV/AIDS.
- Hopital de la Communaute Haitienne by doing a donation for the construction of its hospital.
- Participations in prevention campaigns on Sexually Transmitted Disease and other contagious diseases, aloccolism in partnership with humanitarian agencies.

The Barbancourt foundation has also been supportive of:
- The Montfort institute for the deaf children
- FHADIMAC foundation for patients living with diabetese
- Hopital de l’Universite d’Etat d’Haiti for the ophtalmoligical section
